Every summer we escape the heat of the southern sun and head up north for our most anticipated week of the year. It is a time we get to enjoy our family and get away from the busyness of life. This year we have the chance to hang out with some friends at Riverbank Church, who have become an extension of our church family.
A road trip wouldn’t be great without snacks, so in honor of our New England excursion, I made trail mix.
New England Trail Mix:
Freeze Dried berries
To make maple granola:
Melt 1 stick of butter and add 1/2 cup Vermont maple syrup. Coat 2 cups of old fashioned oats. Bake at 275, stirring often until toasted (about 30 min.)
